Stupid ideas you can't get out of your head

I'm getting ready to run Way of the Wicked next week. While doing character generation I realized I was going to wind up with 3 female characters getting their missions from a mysterious patron who is often surrounded by beautiful women.

Now I can't stop cracking up every time I realize I'm essentially running a game of Charlie's Angels. I wanted to play a serious game of PF for once, but I'm afraid that is impossible now.

I can either embrace the silliness, or put the game on hold until I get that stupid idea out of my head. Anyone else ever have something like this derail a game they wanted to run?

Stupid ideas that I can't get out of my head:

That D&D is a wargame, and that skillful play should be rewarded, poor play should be disincentivized, and that haggle, bluff, and negotiation are skills the player learns just like tactical maneuver and strategic planning.
You should go to GaryCon.  Period.

The rules can\'t cure stupid, and the rules can\'t cure asshole.

You have an opportunity to run a Charlies Angels game and you are considering not doing it?

That is a stupid idea. ;)

Hmm, you've convinced me. But I think I'm going to do it in the Fellowship of the Bling style rather than the original module I was going to run.

Good morning, Angels. Time to dust off the Cyclopedia, get out chalk and tent foot pole, and chase down a goblin embezzler who fled to the trap filled ruins located on the border of the Holy Wood.

Even better. Where do I sign up? :)

I could totally see that working out like last half of the movie version of Children of Men.

I got Qelong because it sounds like fun, but I haven't got around to preparing it yet - I still have 2 games in front of it.
