This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Tell me what you're doing with BRP (Legend/RQ/CoC/Etc)

Not quite enough.  Its usable, but a bit ropey in a lot of places, especially concerning magic.

Still running a Gloranthan/Praxian RQ3ish campaign (6 years and going strong).

Trying to write some Legend stuff, when I get the time and inclination.

Reading far too many RPG forums ...

Mainly running OpenQuest in the variety of settings that I've published via D101, since about 2006 :)

Currently putting the polish on OQ2, with plans to run a few sessions with my home group/G++ to test.

OpenQuest has its own website if you want to keep up with what's going on

At some point I want to run/play some RQ6 and Clockwork and Chivalry.

I do play other games, but D100 in its various forms is a big past of my gaming past, present and future :)

Quote from: Loz;619038I'd love to get my Elric game going again, if at all possible.

Yeah, that would be awesome!  Perhaps something online, given that the gang's been scattered to the four corners of the earth?

(This reminds me that I should finally write up the last installments of the campaign log...)

I ran a couple of CoC adventures last summer (one for OSRCon, the other for some friends).

Played in a RQ6 adventure at OSRCon.

Nothing since then, alas.

I hope to form/join a RPG group in Chicago in the spring/summer.  If that works out, I'd be keen to try my hand at GM'ing RQ6, most likely using The Book of Quests.

I'd also love to run Dark Streets (Cthulhu investigations in 18th C London) using the Renaissance system (which is based upon OpenQuest).

Up until around October 2012 I had been running Elric using MRQ2/Legend for a couple of years.
Ever since 1st edition Stormbringer I've been running pretty much every incarnation of it on and off over the years.

I'm not running it atm, but now I'm settled in in Australia I've got some players interested in Elric again, I'll be using the MRQ2/Legend rules set again, so will be starting that up at some stage in the nearish future.

I'm currently playing in CoC Masks of Nyarlothotep.

Writing a scenario for The Company (Open Quest based) as Rik is in my gaming group (name dropping there). Maybe Newt will be interested in publishing it.

Writing a scenario for Dark Streets (Renaissance system which is based on OQ) to be published by Cakebread & Walton.
Avatar to left by Ryan Browning, 2011 (I own the original).

The last thing I ran related to this was CoC, over a year ago, a one-shot.  But, I'm about to get some of the Cakebread & Walton stuff for review, apparently!

Cool. What stuff will you be reviewing?

Quote from: Kaiu Keiichi;618379Who here is either playing or writing BRP related stuff?

I've been doing a diluted D&D game (based loosely on my fond memories of playing AD&D long ago) using the Elric system and the spells from the Classic Fantasy monograph with a generic fantasy background. Its nothing innovative but it is fun to run and the players are enjoying it.
