This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Arrows of Indra has been released on PDF!

Thanks, I had no idea about that one; I never look at CM. There seems to be some sincere interest, outside of some of the standard quips, too.
In answer to one of the questions there, I dedicate a not insignificant portion of the setting chapter (as well as bits and bobs pretty much everywhere else) to talking about life in the Bharata kingdoms, and questions of culture, caste, clan and even sexuality or gender roles; as well as talking about what the heroic virtues are, and how to treat things like religion, laws, property, taxation, etc.  So I have to say that I've certainly given it the old college try in terms of trying to capture the "feel" of Mythic ancient India.

Ordering directly from the Studio 2 site can be expensive for overseas shipment. What I try to do is find local sellers amd sources for people. If you can tell me anout your location (and any online rpg sales sites that have reasonable shipping costs near you) I can try to find out if it will be available there.

Machpants

Yeah I know it is not anyone's but the shipping Co's fault. However there are cheaper options for you I am sure.

However I just tend to get the PDF professionally printed. Here in NZ I think there are now only 2 or 3 RPG stores, all of them 5 or more hours away.

That must suck for you. Of course, here in Uruguay there are zero RPG stores.

Quote from: Ladybird;638152You spend years berating rpg.net, and you really wonder why they're not rushing over themselves to applaud you.

Hmm.

Certainly couldn't have been anything you did, oh no.

The main reason I don't even lurk there anymore is because they don't seem to have much time to review or discuss games even when the designer isn't on their shit list.
