(I'll move this to the Pundit's forum eventually, but I wanted to maximize the chance for everyone to see it, as I'd hate for anyone's stuff to get lost in the mail)

So I am now, we really hope, on the verge of moving to the new house ("The Abbey", that's really what its called), after three months of stress and hassle dealing with a completely useless architect and utterly incompetent renovators.
But it really, really looks like by the end of this month we'll be moved.

As such, a public service announcement: If you were planning on sending me Review material, please do NOT send it just yet, and don't send it to my current address if you have that one.

Instead, please get in touch with me privately and when its safe to do so I'll send you The Abbey's address, so that there's less chance of a mishap.

Meanwhile, everyone just keep calm and think about what you might want to send the Pundit for review; I've got a bit of a backlog of review material right now, so there'll be some neat reviews coming up in any case.

I don't actually have time to read blogs at all, but I did stop over at yours a while back when you were in the middle of said crazy hassles of the new house and read the issues you had during renovation there in Uruguay.  Very good to read that it all finally got done!

Its not actually quite done.  But the plan is it will be done next week and we move in at the end of the week; we'll see if the plan works out.

Congrats on the new place! Are you in Montevideo or move out of town?

There are 3 million people where I live; its not like I'm publishing an address.
