ARROWS OF INDRA Has Been Released!

Arrows of Indra has now been released on PDF.  It is an old-school complete RPG (based on the original fantasy RPG we all know and love), but adapted to adventuring in a world based on the epic Indian mythology of the Mahabharata, in the age of heroes.

Players take on the roles of brave Kshatriya warriors, disciplined yogis, temple priests, rogues or scouts, assassins of the dark goddess, magic-using Siddhis seeking the mysteries of the universe, playing humans civilized or barbaric, immortal Gandharvas or Yakshas,  Vanara monkey-men or half-demonic Rakshasa; and adventure in Naga-filled jungles, fight Asura demons, visit the ruins of ancient Rakshasa empires, seek out the shining treasures of the truly massive Patala Underworld, fight duels for money or honor in the Kalari Arenas, or get caught up in the political and military intrigues of the human Bharata Kingdoms.
It's the same heroic adventuring you know and love, but with a new and exciting environment.  No anthropology, history, theology or linguistics degree required; everything you need to play heroic characters and adventure in the Bharata kingdoms is found right here in this book

Agreed. The maps are stunning.

I am put off by the large file size and poor RPGNow preview available (tiny size, no actual content).

When it comes out in print, will there be a print+PDF bundle?  i.e. Should those who might be interested in both wait for that?

The file size is because it is in a high resolution, to preserve the quality of the image. The company Brendan uses as his PDF distributor actually releasted it in a much lower-res file at first but we made them turn it back because it looked a lot less nice. However, Brendan is checking out whether a low-size low-res option is a possibility too.  The file size is on par with games like MHR and Dungeon World, from what I've been told, and AoI is surely a better game than either of those!

Because we use different sellers for our print and PDFs, unfortunately we cannot bundle them in this way.

There's no doubt the print version will be great.  Hopefully not too long from now...

Purchased the PDF. It's very well-written, I like the tone, even the character sheet is spot on.
