This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Captain Rufus

Playing: D&D 4th Edition Encounters.
Running: Was asked to run a game of 4e.  Was going to run this:
except the players who were ok with it decided they didn't want to play this a couple days afterward and someone else was gonna DM so now I am running nothing and opted out of the group entirely.
Planning: See above.  I know CT is ASS for gamers, but considering some people in the IRC channel I frequent thought it sounded cool and wished they were local to play in it, I will keep trying.  Also planning an IRC X-Plorers game (again alt history) which is kind of like AT-43/other WW2 Turtledove like setting meets Aliens.  And the players are Socialist Block troopers investigating a distress call from a research facility in the free state of Alaska.

And I will also add in:
Reading The Transylvania Ravenloft supplement.

Allow that the group, milieu and system will from an organic symbiosis.
Most importantly, have fun exploring the possibilities!

Quote from: CRKrueger;417139By what method are you playing all those games?

Quote from: Drohem;417053Well, most of those are Play-by-Post games.  Oh, I forgot to add my face-to-face group's game- Legends 2.0.  It's a custom system by the GM that is a mashup of 3.5 D&D and 5e HERO, Revised.  I'm the member of a FtF group and two Skype groups.

I run a 3e Tal game via Skype with one group, and I play and run 4e D&D games via Skype with another group.   The rest I play and run via Play-by-Post.
