If you're going to print out things for the players to use, and you want to make them look interesting or believable, it doesn't hurt to use some variant fonts.

Here's a link to a load of free fonts, some are cool, some are almost impossible to read and some look like those awful unreadable klingon fonts.

http://cooltext.com/Fonts-Science-Fiction

The link goes to the 50 sf fonts available as I like SF, there are plenty of gothic and script style fonts for you dungeon divers.
Go an\' tell me I\'m ignored.

I don\'t care, I\'m still free.
You can\'t take the net from me.

Seriously?  One link?  Are you trying to goad the resident font wonk into a wall of text comprised solely of links to various font foundries and collections?
If you read the above post, you owe me $20 for tutoring fees

When one link has 50 SF fonts and many more fonts that could be used for various game settings, one link is generally enough.

I sure hope so, can always use more fonts.  I generally like to have a number one less then required to prevent my OS from loading. :D
Even the the "cutting edge" storygamers for all their talk of narrative, plot, and drama are fucking obsessed with the god damned rules they use. - Estar

Sorry, CRKrueger.(Any relation to Freddy?) but the one link was all I intended to put up, and I found it while looking for  type 1 fonts to use in blender after being instructed in how to turn them into 3d objects.

OK, I'll bite.

I, too, am a font freak. Here are the sites I most frequently visit.
   DaFont
Fonts101
FontCubes
Abstract Fonts
Fontex
1001 Free Fonts
Dafont is my reference because it's well organized and since I speak french, I often need to find fonts that include accented letters. Dafont let me filter fonts to do just that. It also clearly specifies if the font can be used commercially.

Here are two sites that offer professional-grade fonts that you can use commercially (for all you designers) :
   Font Squirrel (the best)
The League of Movable Type
The following site is ugly and badly organized, but you can ofter find fonts that you shouldn't find freely online... Which is great if you want to produce a house-rule document that match the design of the original game (told you I was a freak...)
   Font Yukle
Finally, here's a site where you can build your own font online. Never tried it, though...
   Fontstruct
And that's it for the main font sites I browse on the web. Hope you found something new!

Shit, I knew I shouldn't have said anything.

Excuse me, I have to call my therapist for the font OCD medication again.  ;)

But where is the Traveller font?
Avatar to left by Ryan Browning, 2011 (I own the original).

Not easy to come by, and virtually impossible to find for free.

Re-read the thread... Specifically my post... OK, I'll save you time. I told everyone that you could find fonts at Font Yukle that you should not be able to find...

Here it is.

Also legally nebulous, you can download the OSRIC sans, which is an exact copy of Optima. Go here and scroll down.

Have font! er... fun!
