This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I know we have these threads come up every now and then where we tell each other about our most recent gaming purchases.  If you guys think it's a good idea, I can sticky this one on the forum, so people have one thread to see who's buying what, and ask any questions they want.

As for me, my print copy of the Cortex RPG System came in the mail today--a gift from the wife with some Amazon credit.

Soon to pull the trigger on: Dresden Files.
The Secret Volcano Base: my intermittently updated RPG blog.

"In a way, the Lands of Dream are far more brutal than the worlds of most mainstream games. All of the games set there have a bittersweetness that I find much harder to take than the ridiculous adolescent posturing of so-called \'grittily realistic\' games. So maybe one reason I like them as a setting is because they are far more like the real world: colourful, crazy, full of strange creatures and people, eternal and yet changing, deeply beautiful and sometimes profoundly bitter."

I'm still waiting for my copy of the Majestic Wilderlands, and my actual boxed set of Swords & Wizardry WhiteBox.
Waiting on a bunch of gamescience dice to come through the mail, too. Solid saffron, orange and blue dice. :)

Good choices -- both quality products.  My shelf is better for having them.

I want to buy some, but I already have so many dice.

An individual of taste and discernment!

Another one!  Majestic Wilderlands + Gamescience Dice=two great tastes that go together.

You can never tell what you can find at con. I think I should have picked up the copy of the original Basic Roleplaying that had there. But I just bought the new one and decided to save the money for something else (like the Runequest 2nd I won on ebay).

KrakaJak

I just picked up WoD: Dudes of Legend. It's very very very funny. It's also seems to be a pretty playable supplement if you want to play an over the top oWoD parody style chronicle. Also got Atomic Highway...but I haven't read it yet...

I just ordered Basic Roleplaying... again.  :o

I bought it just last year but got rid of it in a fit of shelf cleaning a month or so ago only to find that I really would like to give it more of a chance.  And so goes my gaming ADD.

Aos

I got the two rule books from the first edition of  Dark Sun for 10$ at the used book store; the boxed set is going for just a little more than that online, but instant gratification is instant.

Carcosa- which I printed out and made into a booklet today.

Waiting on the boxed  White Box set
You are posting in a troll thread.

Metal Earth

Cosmic Tales- Webcomic

The Shaman

Dawn Patrol.

It's about as much of a roleplaying game as Dungeon! was, but darn if it isn't a hoot to play, and yes, it's fun watching your pilot improve (if he lives, of course).

I have an idea for a campaign - series of engagements - based on Les Cigognes in 1917 and 1918.
On weird fantasy: "The Otus/Elmore rule: When adding something new to the campaign, try and imagine how Erol Otus would depict it. If you can, that\'s far enough...it\'s a good idea. If you can picture a Larry Elmore version...it\'s far too mundane and boring, excise immediately." - Kellri, K&K Alehouse

I have a campaign wiki! Check it out!
