This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Woo!

"Bugbear Paw Force"
"Two-Fisted Basilisk Vigor"
"Emerald Cat Bash"

It's indistinguishable from the real thing!  I suspect they run all feat names by the Blind Panther Judge before publication.

For every idiot who denounces Ayn Rand as "intellectualism" there is an excellent DM who creates a "Bioshock" adventure.

I really like Avatar the Last Air Bender. I think it predates 4e by at least a little, and it definitly uses the naming scheme.

Firebender
Skybison
Platypusbear
Air-Temple

I think most of the posts in this thread have been pointing this out already.

But I agree with Pundit on this one; even with the miniscule amount of 4e stuff I've seen dumped on the intrewebs, the lame name choices jumped out at me.
On weird fantasy: "The Otus/Elmore rule: When adding something new to the campaign, try and imagine how Erol Otus would depict it. If you can, that\'s far enough...it\'s a good idea. If you can picture a Larry Elmore version...it\'s far too mundane and boring, excise immediately." - Kellri, K&K Alehouse

I have a campaign wiki! Check it out!

I was waiting for the MSTK3k reference and can now leave satisfied...

...and I'm back.

DongDing: The (intentionally) forgotten City
I start from his boots and work my way up. It takes a good half a roll to encompass his jolly round belly alone. Soon, Father Christmas is completely wrapped in clingfilm. It is not quite so good as wrapping Roy but it is enjoyable nonetheless and is certainly a feather in my cap.

I actually prefer Slab Bulkhead, but I seem to be in the minority in that regard.

Didn't Penny Arcade do something on this with Shadowfell?
"Meh."

Fabulousdale; the gayest side of the Realms

Twinkletown; capitol city of Fabulousdale

Meatstreet; sauciest street in Twinkletown where the sausage swings serenely!

I wonder if they'll publish my idea for a "Jade Shark Kick"
