Paragons in the Underdark: A skill Challenge

Sorry for making it a link, but I wanted to put the mechanics and the game play side by side, and as far as I know there's no way to make a decent table with forum Code.

It's a short (4 pages, but lots of white space) rendering of the skill challenge for a couple weeks ago in our paragon campaign. The characters are:

Adrian: Human Wizard, a mercenary for hire.
Bumten: Halfling Rogue, Adrian's friend and business partner
Maltz Undark: Dwarven Cleric of Pelor, undead hunter extraordinary
(Name not coming to mind): Dragonborn Paladin of Pelor, fellow quester with Maltz
(Name also escaping me): Tiefling Warlock, seeker of power

They work out pretty well as long as everyone in the party can contribute. Unfortunately, because of the skills available and the player's dislike* of spontaneous narrative, the paladin spent pretty much the entire time listening to others and saying "I use perception to help the wizard." I'm not sure what skills he has trained, so I don't know what else might have been added to the mix to get him more involved.

* Dislike is too strong of a word, but I'm not sure what to use in it's place. He isn't opposed to making up minor details on the fly, he just doesn't do it a lot. For instance, in Scion and Exalted, he only stunted if he needed the extra dice or was running low on motes / legend points.

It's not in any way intended to downplay his abilities or contribution to the group. That's just his style. He usually plays a large damage dealing, high toughness melee type, and likes to smash face. He also spent a half an hour deciphering hieroglyphs when I ran Desert of Desolation, and was one of the more active players in the few combat-free sessions we've had.

I've always loved stuff like this. It started with the old White Wolf books, that had the small comic in each book that had the mechanics used on the opposite page. Cool stuff.

I wish they'd done that with Exalted. They've got the comics in between the chapters, but not mechanics tied to them.
