This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

So I'm building a dungeon...

I'm still working on this one, but because of certain side issues going on- I want to make this one under 4th edition. So I have the maps mostly done, but I'm shelving it. Until June.

That said, I decided to break out the old AD&D1e for this eventual Play by Screenmonkey 1st Edition AD&D Campaign I want to run while I wait for 4e to come out. I'll link to the next post with "So I'm building ANOTHER dungeon..."

This is pretty cool AM! :)

It makes me want to get out a pad of graph paper, some Dr. Pepper and pizza, and draw me a 9-level deep super mega-dungeon.

Make sure you check Jeff Rients blog -- he always has cool links to stuff to help with dungeon creation.

Indeed. While marginal for a Monday work day, arrived home to receive a double scoop of dungeon delving goodness. first there is the solo game / dungeon generator report posted on Jeff Rients blog here...

Also received the new Troll Lords Engineering Dungeons in the mail hot off the presses... Engineering Dungeons.

Combined, they'll make for some time well-spent created nests of evil challenging for, and worthy of, only the most creative, valiant, intrepid, and mean dungeon explorers! W00t++
Blackmoor grew from a single Castle to include, first, several adjacent Castles (with the forces of Evil lying just off the edge of the world to an entire Northern Province of the Castle and Crusade Society's Great Kingdom.

Here's an update of the profile with corrections.

And here's the first level map:

The first two levels are pretty small I realize (only 13 encounter areas each) but they get bigger as it goes down.

Erm... I don't actually see any pictures in your post, even though now in the Reply window I see the links are there. Also, if I Copy & Paste those URLs directly into my browser, it doesn't work either. Any idea why that might be? :(
Obvious troll is obvious. RIP, Bill.

I'm not sure. I posted them from home and I could see them fine. Now I'm actually looking at this from my work computer and they still show up fine.

Anyone else not see the pictures?

Eventually. I have shifted everything over to (yet another) dungeon, which I am building with AD&D1e, and I plan to run as on online adventure from this weekend until the beginning of June on Sunday afternoons.

I'm posting less details about that because I have Settembrini and James Skach so far as players.
