This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

It's a no-bullshit early eighties RPG, and a really good one.

It's like watching Wayne step up for one last gunfight in The Shootist, or Eastwood's liquour-fueled killing spree at the end of Unforgiven...the traditional RPG saddling up for one last ride into the sunset...

I bought two reaper miniatures, a cleric and a pirate.

The cleric has a mace and shield, but the chainmail hood is what sold me. Likewise the pirate has a nice cloak sword etc... but a parrot perched on the shoulder? Sold!

My long term goal is to get these bad boys painted up in time for 4th edition.
That\'s pretty much how post modernism works. Keep dismissing details until there is nothing left, and then declare that it meant nothing all along. --John Morrow

Chainmail hoods are the shit. Funny, though, that they only seem suitable for clerics.

RE: Chainmail hoods == Clerics only. I hadn't thought of that before. Aw nutz. This is gonna be one of those questions that never dies.

I had a little mad money, and I picked up Two-Fisted Tales at the flgs. On the way home, I found d6 Adventure on sale for $3. The well-founded praise around here for these games was a factor, even in an impulse purchase.
Employment Counselor: So what do you like to do outside of work?
Oblivious Gamer: I like to play games: wargames, role-playing games.
EC: My cousin killed himself because of role-playing games.
OG: Jesus, what was he playing? Rifts?

I bought the Tome of Corruption for WFRP off of Amazon on Thursday, and expect to get it on Tuesday.  I might get Starships of the Galaxy for SWSE this next week too.

A bunch of Star Wars mini singles for GURPS Traveller use.

GURPS Traveller: Rim Of Fire
PDF of GURPS Traveller: Starships

Got my 3rd Issue of Kobold Quarterly and purchased a copy of Polymancer at a FLGS, my second issue.

James McMurray

I just found Amber Diceless and Shadow Knight at my Half Price Books for $8 each, and snatched them up.

Pierce Inverarity

I finally got a much craved (by me) copy of CORPS, but I'm so busy getting sucked into Flames of War, I haven't looked at it yet.
