Well to that point you are rather wrong, most people I have seen are rather indifferent to AI when being used to brainstorm or work ideas into a more coherent picture. It is nothing more then a tool, and it is up to the person using that tool to make good or not with that is produced.
And that OP doesn't really show how it can "street you wrong" in game prep. You asked a question, and it gave you the answer to the best of it's ability. I can produce a number of various books from colleges and academia that over the years have been proven to be wrong of misinforming, but that's all part of the process. You didn't show how it is bad for game dev at all. As amusing as this slightly off kilter post is, I think I'll go back to stuff that's actually engaging.

Frank Herbert's warnings against technology is a bit more nuanced than that. in Frank's original conception of the The Butlerian Jihad, humanity didn't rebel against machines, they rebelled against the "expert class" basically the only people capable of understanding and maintaining the machines.

He warned against human dependencies on machines as a whole, it made you subject to those who maintained and controlled the machines.

Brian Herbert later retconned the idea that it was humanity Vs. AI Machines, in contrast to Frank Herbert's Underclass Vs. Tech Priest conception. this is why all computers are banned in Dune, not just AI.
