I didn't want that and I told her so. That's it. Now, of course, many of my posts in that thread are gone. But that's how it started. And then posts started popping up about not talking about religion, something I thought was aimed at her (she thought this too) but to my surprise it was my posts that were horrible.

You were right to defend yourself in that case as she had no business trying to impose her views on you. Yet at the same time you also knew what to expect from the forum and posters. Engage if you must to defend yourself yet at the same time also accept the consequences for doing so. Going to a forum that has become more regressive due to SJW modding and posters then complaining about it is both futile and a waste of time imo.

Well, I'm writing several scenarios actually, but writing in English takes alot of extra time. The thing is that I like the BRP system that CoC has. I don't mind the rules. But now I'm unsure if I can offer up my future pdfs at drivethrurpg. There's the Miskatonic Repository, but then Chaosium get's a couple of bucks. I don't think people are allowed to post scenarios with for instance some kind of pay what you want thing without it being a part of the Repository. Well, I can always release them somewhere for free. Free stuff is nice too.

Well, the funny thing is that I'm just suspended a month from the more sensitive BRP central fora, but completely BANNED from the Yog-Sothoth forum now that were said to have a little higher ceiling. The thing is also that alot of my posts seemed to have been appreciated by some members and became hot topics. When I started posting there the forum was rather slow. I gave it some fire.

And on BRP Central I won a silly award for most liked posts a lovely day in August then recieved my first ban some days later, probably because I have the finesse of a rhino and I posted some critique that wasn't recieved as well as earlier. Maybe it was in the thread below or somewhere else:

I just wanted Chaosium to know that old and real horror loving farts still play CoC and that I am unhappy with the way the game is presented these days. Swedish Kult makes CoC look like Pikachu the rpg. Who are their Kickstarter backers, to be honest? 13 year old kids who persuade their parents or wrinkly old asses like me? Or are Seattle neckbeards the majority among backers? Is that why they include more tidbits about the racism of the 1920s or the situation for LGBTQUEBEC Investigators during that era? Is that why they probably count the number of "characters of colour" in every product they release, no matter the era or setting?

Although it wasn't a Chaosium product, I think alot of nu-Chaosium's sensibility and inclusion came in the wake of Harlem Unbound. Many seemed very impressed with that product. They are making a 2nd edition now.
