And it may be out of place in Help Desk. But if so, shouldn't it have been moved instead of closed?
Brett closed it, because he stated that it wasn't actually anyone asking for help. He should probably have said so in a post to explain why he closed it (He made such a post, but over at the admin's forum).
I don't think there was anything particularly wrong with that thread, but it already does come down to something that's been discussed here frequently before:
1. We don't ban people here for things like language or surliness.
2. We encourage people to argue and debate as strongly as they like, but not to just mindlessly troll.
I don't think much more than that needs to be said.
