SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Weird page number bug.

Not that it's a big deal, but I've been having several pages claim there is one more page then there actually is.

IE, the 3e assholes thread says Sacrosant is the last poster. And the last post on 131 is by Sacrosant, and probably the last post. But then it says there is a page 132, and when you click on it, it takes you right back to page 131.

A few threads have done that now. I have no idea why, but I figured it was weird enough to report.
Quote from: FrankTrollmanReally, the only thing the "my character can beat up your character" challenges ever do by presenting a clear and unambiguous beat down is to have the loser drop of the thread and pretend the challenge never happened.

One Horse Town

Sometimes when we get rid of spammers, the forum software still counts their posts when gauging thread length etc. So, chances are, if you have this problem, it's because we've got rid of a spammer who's posted to the thread in question.

The Traveller

Yeah I mentioned this in a helpdesk thread before, it doesn't seem to be spammers, it happens every page in some threads, particularly longer ones. Its probably some bizarre quirk in the vbulletin code.
