Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Applause from all who were occasioned to be present at such auspicious verbiage, such as it is more an homage to your avatar namesake one Mr. Swearengen (or "Swedgin" as known by Mr Wu) from an old town out west way called "Deadwood".

If one might be willing to pontificate on the noxiousness of such likely cocksuckers as yourself, plainer speech might have actually be more accurately targeted for the purposes intended to which only you can claim knowledge of.

Of course as one who had the most unrelenting of small pleasures of existing in the camp/town of Deadwood nigh on three years this past spring, and in attendance of many a meeting at The Gem (peaches & pairs as refreshments always in abundance) one became quite familiar with the verbal patterns and thought directions of your image's sake.

Now get out of my saloon before I tell those cocksuckers Dan and Johnny to escort you out back and give you a walking beating that goes about three feet and lasts around an hour (we get busy after that I need them back here).

*wink*

You speak in the dialect that fits your tongue, brother.  I make due with what I can bring up with the phlegm.

Whats interesting is that the opening post of this thread and this one too make more sense if we imagine them said with Al Swearingen's voice as played by Ian McShane.

No wonder you picked him as your avatar.

Yeah if you go back to all his quotes and fill in McShane's voice, it's actually pretty amazing.  :hatsoff:

Yeah it's not really about RPGs, but more about the RPGsite itself, or at least the discourse level, so should be tossed in a different place.

OP, seriously. Who the fuck actually talks like that? Your 50-cent words only make you seem pretentious. And amen to this place not becoming RPG.net!

David Johansen

It's sad to see that understanding rpgnet would be necessary to understanding this place.

To the original poster: We are here because over there we are not permitted to freely speak our opinions, vent our frustrations, or swear randomly at fixed objects.

Indeed, we would generally take the position that calling each other ass monkeys does indeed make this a more civil place.

Not here nor there to me where it goes or if it's to be taken down completely.  Just put up thoughts that passed my mind.  If it's a matter not warranted or besides the point on my part.  It'd not be the first.

Once I have run a highly successful RPG forums site for a while, I'll have advice on what to do about such things.

You run the site, all I run is my mouth.

You would have been sick then having to endure the turns of phrase at every corner of my native village.  Next in line to the tower of Babel for incomprehensible discourse.

And name it, two irrelevant cocksuckers in the same teapot.  I'd pay to watch.  And lest I detract his attentions from erstwhile duties on the high plains of philosophy by the comment, I apply the term irrelevant not to him, but to the proposed discussion betwixt us.  "Irrelevant" as a monicker, affix only to my chest.
