It says that I can select an avatar at 30 posts but it doesn't let me do it when I click on it.
Why is it that mean to me ? :)

give it a couple minutes - it took the system about 15 to update my status once I hit the 30 post mark also.

no idea, but it's looking so far like there's the standard 3rd ed mathematical progression when it comes to leveling.

0-10 posts is level 1
11-30 is level 2 (sig)
31-60 is level 3 (avatar 50x50)
60-100 is level 4 (pms, inbox limit 50)
101+ level 5 (can give positive rep)

The point per level table is easy:
1: 0 (nothin)
2: 10 (signature)
3: 30 (avatar 50²)
4: 60 (PM, inbox 50)
5: 100 (+repping)
6: 150
7: 210
8: 280
9: 360
10: 450
11: 550
12: 660
13: 780
14: 910
15: 1050
16: 1200
17: 1360
18: 1530
19: 1710
20: 1900
21(?): 2100

The question, is, what do we get at each level? Knightcrawler has a 75² avatar, was that won at level 7 or 8, or through other means? This would have been information.

I think I got the 75x7 avatar at 6th and ability to choose my own title at 7th or 8th, most likely 8th.

In their defense I'm not sure if any PbP games have started yet.  Also it is not clear right now how PbP are going to work in relation to postcounts.

It is my understanding , that PBP-games can best be done with In-Character alts.
So as not to skew the ranks with the non-pbp-players.
