This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I tried to start my story hour, which you can see a thread for here.

But when I click on the link I get this message:

For some reason, your story hour ended up in the moderation que. We apologize for that inconvenience, but we have now published it. We'll see what we can do to get this problem fixed.

I feel dumb when I look at that thing. :(

How do I then post related posts?  Just go to create content again?  How is it then "threaded"?

Thanks ahead of time for any help.

Ok, I tried re-posting it as a book - as it looks like that is how Madman did it.

Mods, please let me know if I fucked up.

We apologize for the delay. please try it now. a kink in the system is that A moderator must still "publish" the item in order for you to have it come through to the whole site.

It should be up now, and we apologize for the delay.

okay, i was able to get to it, edited it and then was denied access to see it again.

sorry to be a pain

It's quite all right, we  don't mind helping. It looks like when you edit it resets the publishing permisssions and we must approve it again. :o  We are still working on the story hour section. we apologize for the inconveneince.

We have created a collaborative works "book" for you to add your story hours to from now on.

in order to make sure your pages go to the right place, use the "book page" creation link in create content, and make sure that the parent field says "aquerra story hour."

unfortunatly, the system still requires us to approve each individual page.

Edit:

We also would like to note that the current book system supports nested hierarchies, meaning that, for each session in this campaign, it would be a tertiary level page of the campaign, rather than a top-level addition to the story-book. If you have several campaigns, you might find it easier to use a nested structure. We've moved the first session so that it is a sub-page of the campaign introduction thread, as an example for you.

You are awesome!

So if I wanted to move the footnotes down to another level of pages (i.e. make the session they are from its parent page) in the book could I do that?  Is there any limit to the madness of cool things on these boards? :-)

Oh and thanks again for all the help.

Yes, you could create a footnotes page using this type of nesting. It is a very useful system, once you get the hang of it.

The pooka tells us that he is working on the problems, but that he won't have them fixed for a little while. In the mean time, feel free to PM us or continue to use this thread for support with any further issues of this type.

We will pop in and out for a while this evening approving changes, but we can't garuntee any turnaround times at the moment.
