I wasn't sure where to post this, as the review forum looks like it's for official reviews only, and not solicitations.
So how does one go about requesting a review?

Interesting question. Hadn't thought about that. I guess the first step were I to request some reviews would be to create a specific thread on the Roleplaying Games general forum to discuss the game/supplement, asking opinions about it and whatnot, and then slip in a particular request for more elaborate reviews, maybe?
Or did you mean a request directed at a particular user/bunch of users instead? I'd PM them in this case.

No, it doesn't matter who does the review, I was just wondering how to do an open submission. I was hesitant to put it in general because I wasn't sure if that was the wrong place.
Well it'd be kinda lame to just post an OP with "please review this" on the general RPG forum, but if you go about it with the intent to spark discussion on the thread first and asking if someone would be interested in writing a formal review about it second, then it's cool. Like "I'm interested in game/supplement X, what do you think of it, do you play it, what are your experiences with it... oh and btw, anybody interested in writing a review? I'd be thankful". So you have the thread sparking discussion, and you made your request at the same time, see what I mean?
