...does the dice-roller have a tendency to roll way below average?

For a test ; more to follow...

Ok ; appears to be sheer coincidence so far. Never mind.

A few more tries:
[Dice=1]20[/dice]
[Dice=1]20[/dice]
That settles it : I just had a few unlucky previous rolls.
[dice=1]20[/dice]
Not great. Another try?
[dice=1]20[/dice]
Well, could be better.
[dice=1]20[/dice]
It does tend to suck.
[dice=1]20[/dice]
That's even worse.
[dice=1]20[/dice]
Still not any in the 11+ range.
[dice=1]20[/dice]
Damn!
[dice=1]20[/dice]
At last!
[dice=1]20[/dice]
Sucks.
[dice=1]20[/dice]
Continues to suck.
[dice=1]20[/dice]
Woot!
So that's 2 results in the 11-20 range for 10 tries.
Another try?
[dice=1]20[/dice]
Hmm. A last one just to see...
[dice=1]20[/dice]
There's a dice roller built into this forum??? How?
[dice=1]20[/dice]
Let's see if my luck continues to hold.
The dice tag is [noparse][dice=X]Y[/dice][/noparse] where X = the number of dice and Y equals the size.
So - if I wanted to test this thing and see how my luck holds, I could do this:
[dice=1]20[/dice]
[dice=1]20[/dice]
[dice=1]20[/dice]
[dice=1]20[/dice]
[dice=1]20[/dice]
[dice=1]20[/dice]
[dice=1]20[/dice]
[dice=1]20[/dice]
[dice=1]20[/dice]
[dice=1]20[/dice]
instead of ten different posts? I think some people just want to get their post count up :P
Hm... seems it won't roll different numbers in the same post...
That's intentional. The roll is logged to prevent someone from chaning their roll by hitting the edit button. Unfortunately, the way it is logged limits the roller to one type of roll per post.
You can still do something like
Attack 1d20 + 7 [dice=1]20[/dice]
Damage 2d6 + 4 [dice=2]6[/dice]
Of course, I got sucky results, as expected, but the point was to illustrate you can do several rolls, as long as they are of a different type, in the same post.
