Hi, guys.
So I'm having major problems with AOL, and I am locked out of my AOL e-mail account that I've been using for DECADES (the AOL account was created in the 1990's). The AOL account was originally owned by my brother when he worked for Time Warner, and then he ended up just giving me the account many years ago....and I've used it for everything. Until now. Anyway, this situation has forced me to change information for a bunch of online accounts tethered to this one e-mail account. This PROBLEM has affected my Internet access to banking, bills, forums, and a whole lot more. Trying to fix this issue has become a massive headache.
The question I have is.....can I go into my profile and just change my e-mail address? I recently created an Outlook e-mail account and a Proton Mail account as an attempted antidote. Please take note that I have also forgotten my password for therpgsite. Granted, this is probably all my own fault, but I'm still trying to fix it. I'm afraid to just try to change it, because I don't want to be spontaneously locked out of the account that I have here on therpgsite.
What do I do?

I don't think it will log you out. Try it. If it does, we'll figure it out (use the contact form if you can't get a hold of anyone here).
