Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Sounds like a terrific idea. :)

What would its function be, precisely?  Would it be a room for publishers to discuss their trade?  Or, would it be a place to discuss principles of good design from both an amature and professional perspective?

If the latter, how would it differ from a rules/house rules/custom forum?

I managed to miss this thread until now.  :)  Your questions may have been answered already, but I'll answer anyway.  While house rules are welcome in the forum, they are only part of what it's intended for.  It's for any scale of game design, from a feat to a whole new system.  It's also not restricted by system.

So you could post a feat here or on ENWorld.  But only here could you post a new game systems that uses Pogs instead of dice.  :)

You're a sick, sick man. :p

But, the explanation makes sense.

That was the worst example I could come up with off the top of my head.  :heh:  Glad you liked it.

And we can also get King Stannis to get his butt back over here, too.  We just need to start working on a system that using Ars Magica's spells, the combat system from Twilight 2000, and the cyberware and setting of Cyberpunk 2020.  :mischief:
