Hi chaps,
So there this game I've been working on. I call it Bounty Hunters of the Atomic Wastelands. It's about about bounty hunters in a post-apocalyptic atomic wasteland. It's a Fate based game, but I really dumbed down version of Fate because that's how we do things in the Atomic Wastelands.
If any one here remembers Mutant Bikers of the Atomic Wastelands, this is it's successor. I'd like to think it is as easy to pick up and play as the original, in some ways it is even easier for the GM to run.
Anyway, I've attached a pdf with the beta version of the game. There are things like the cover, the character sheet and the layout in a few sections that that are still a work in progress but it's pretty much complete.

If anyone wants to have a read or even give it a spin they are more than welcome to. Any feedback would be much appreciated. Or you can just skim through and look at the pictures.
Neeters. If you have not allready announce it over on the Gamma World list on Yahoo Groups.

I was going to leave that till I had a final version, but yeah, I sure there are folks over there who might like it.
Downloading to read later. Remind me to to do..(lots on my plate so I might forget, but I do want to look at it.)
I quite liked the stunt system in there, and the setting. Critter pool idea is interesting. I'm not a big fan of Aspects or players only rolling, but I think its one of the more accessible versions of FATE I've seen in my limited exposure to FATE.

Thanks. The goal was to make the game very accessible which in turn meant simplifying Fate. I left out the bits which, however good and powerful, might still require repeated play before you get your head around it. As far as I was concerned this is a game about bounty hunters in the Atomic Wasteland; you should not have to get you head around anything!
Also, while I'm not saying you should play this game, I do include an option that allows both player and GM to roll.

Consider yourself reminded :-)
Thanks will take a look at it.
A couple of updates.
First, allow me to introduce you to the Critter Pool Machine. It's webpage with a bit of JavaScript for those who want to play Bounty Hunters of the Atomic Wastelands but don't happen to have 40-50 coloured d6 at hand for some reason.
It's more than just a dice roller though, it can create complete retro-computer game style encounters. You can even add your own critters. It's still a beta, but it's simple stuff, not much that can go wrong with it.

Also there is an update draft of the rules, mainly with a new character sheet and a few minor edits for anyone who would like to have a look and ideally come back with some feedback. I've got just a month left before I'm due to work on what will be my final revision. After that, for better or for worse, I'm going with whatever I've got.

Awesome! Between this, Barbarians of the Aftermath and other Dust, there is soooo much post-apoc goodness to read through and play with!
By the way, shouldn't there be a Telepathy stunt in the Mental Pool?
Seems solid to me. I rather like it. :D

Hi and thanks for checking BHAW out.
As for telepathy, the way it is handled is that Pychers get telepathy as a freebie. It is however a fairly low grade level telepathy as I didn't really want outright mind reading in a game where investigation plays a big role.

Thanks. Coming from you that means a lot.
New cover candidate image, this time with more bounty huntingness and a little more sci-fi.
