This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Here is the test art for the soft cover of Salem World.  Any Feedback is welcome!

Is the artwork large enough to fill the cover? The oval of artwork just seems a little out of place. If not large enough, then how does it work as a black bar at the top with the title, the artwork, and then a black bar at the bottom with the blurb and company name?

Fonts seem pretty readable. Are the colors light enough to show up well at the larger size?

Maybe put the blurb at the top with the title, and the company name at the bottom? The idea being people may not make it down to the bottom, although I think the title is evocative enough of the setting that the blurb could still work well at the bottom.

Brigitte Werner did the image.  I did the cover set up in Scribus.

I can enlarge the image, I've thought about adding a frame to separate the base image from the black background.  The reverse side is also Black, with a Salem City map in B&W with a description in white lettering.

I have not printed the cover to make sure it's readable.

I may try the Cover in the white lettering as well, it it may feel disjointed

I like that a _lot_ better! Clear, professional and much more evocative of "ooh! witches and stuff!"

How did you do the font along the bottom? Looks a little blurry here but that might just be from converting to a thumbnail/preview.

It looks OK on my file, but I'll get in close and try some other fonts to make sure.  Now all I have to do is reformat everything and add the new artwork inside.

If it looks OK full size, don't sweat it!
