This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.
The RPGPundit's Own Forum Rules
This part of the site is controlled by the RPGPundit. This is where he discusses topics that he finds interesting. You may post here, but understand that there are limits. The RPGPundit can shut down any thread, topic of discussion, or user in a thread at his pleasure. This part of the site is essentially his house, so keep that in mind. Note that this is the only part of the site where political discussion is permitted, but is regulated by the RPGPundit.

He wouldn't be banned, I'm sure of that. Now, it probably would be extra-hard for him to have a discussion about anything without a bunch of crybabies jumping on his throat because they're still angry at RPG.net.

And the true cool kids reminding them at every step how petty they are for that, creating a self - winding spiral of hatred.
Furthermore, I consider that  This is Why We Don't Like You thread should be closed

From what I remember, he was pretty moderate for a mod. I think he would be fine here. As long as he isn't some hand-wringing baby who cries if someone posts something mean, at least. To put it bluntly, I barely remember him. That means he wasn't a total douche as a mod.

I feel like it may be my fault for doing this very same thing.  Good news is I created a thread just for ranting about TBP, have him drop by. If he's not a dick he'll be fine as far as I can tell.

Thing is, it is not about coolnes. It is about usefulness.

I like the mood around here better than RPG.net, so I read and post more here than there. And I do so and will keep doing so as it is useful, meaning actual discussion that leads to ideas that can be used at the table.

If you can teach me how whining like little bithces about mods at RPG.net can be used at the table, I'm all ears and if you show me, I'll whine like the best crybaby. I'm not holding my breath for that.

Yeah, FVB was pretty cool actually.

Hell, we had Cessna here for a little while.  He didn't get banned, he quit after the pundit kept needling him.
For you the day you found a minor error in a Post by Spike and forced him to admit it, it was the greatest day of your internet life.  For me it was... Tuesday.

For the curious: Apparently, in person, I sound exactly like the Youtube Character The Nostalgia Critic.   I have no words.

Y'know, I've learned something from this thread. Both B.T. and Koltar are idiots, but whereas B.T. possesses a malign intelligence, Koltar is just a drooling fuckwit.

So, that's something, I guess.

Eric posts good gaming stuff, so I wouldn't mind having him here.

If there are people here who have a grudge against Eric, it would be them who get into trouble for disrupting the forum, not him.

If they derail existing threads following the guy around to talk about things other than what the thread is about, yes.

Of course, on a thread about rpg.net moderation, or other such topics where the relevancy might come up, that's a different kettle of fish.

That'd be just some threads on this particular subforum, and it'd be up to him to ignore or choose to get involved in such a discussion. Can't see anything wrong with that.

Hmm, I *think* that's the guy that insisted I wasn't a person, but it's been so long I can hardly remember if the idiot who said that is the same as this FVB/Brennan fellow...just seems like it.
