This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.
The RPGPundit's Own Forum Rules
This part of the site is controlled by the RPGPundit. This is where he discusses topics that he finds interesting. You may post here, but understand that there are limits. The RPGPundit can shut down any thread, topic of discussion, or user in a thread at his pleasure. This part of the site is essentially his house, so keep that in mind. Note that this is the only part of the site where political discussion is permitted, but is regulated by the RPGPundit.

I love Pundit,s reviews, they can be excruciatingly helpful. His early work, though derivative, led to Dark Albion and the Jack Cade adventure by Crouzet which I think is superb. I would never be so arrogant as to think that I have any right to ascribe motive to, or for God's sake, judge Pundit.
Politically I'd like to take him apart with a chainsaw. I don't  respect his opinion but I do respect his ability to argue it.

love of esoteric magic, hatred of didactic rpgs, fear of anybody linking the two things together and letting his esoteric magic clientele learn about them.

Pundit's primary area of interest seems to be selling his own products. This is not a bad thing, and he's not at all shy about saying so. I would imagine that everything else is well down the list unless he can spin it into more hype for his products.

I would hazard a guess that this is probably 99 percent of the forum's primary interest (if their "products" end up simply being the employable skills they possess to get, keep, and progress at their job).   Judging by his posts on Parlor for the short time it was alive, it did seem Pundit has a pretty big interest in politics as well.  I would guess he posts less about politics here as too much of that might be temptation to mix leisure time (politics) with business (Rpgs are his business).
