This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. This might be a part of it. I don't tend to care enough about the OSR to buy anything that doesn't exist yet, so I'm not really coming to the site already feeling the rage (or whatever it is motivating these folks).

Ditto and we are obviously not the only ones. I think it was Jack S, of Tales of the Grotesque and Dungeonesque who mentioned, that a link to his site on YDIS generates (far?) more hits than links from boards like this or other blogs.

The hate crosses the line too often and too far for me, but some of their targets truly do deserve to be pointed at and mocked, whether it's the snuff peddler, the One True Way Aspergers Brigade, and the shitheels that try to turn gaming into some sort of tribal war.

I'd just prefer a blog that did that from the high road.
