This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.
The RPGPundit's Own Forum Rules
This part of the site is controlled by the RPGPundit. This is where he discusses topics that he finds interesting. You may post here, but understand that there are limits. The RPGPundit can shut down any thread, topic of discussion, or user in a thread at his pleasure. This part of the site is essentially his house, so keep that in mind. Note that this is the only part of the site where political discussion is permitted, but is regulated by the RPGPundit.

"...player narration and DM fiat fall apart whenever there’s anything less than an incredibly high level of trust for the DM. The general trend of D&D’s design up through the end of 4e is to erase dependence on player-DM trust as much as possible, not to create antagonism, but to insulate both sides from it when it appears." - Brandes Stoddard

Apparently this line:

"Let's go farther than that, let's say that it's Putin's plan to put Hillary in office since he's obviously got his fingers into both of them."

It was meant as a joke, taken as trolling, but even more ridiculous is this:

"Your phrasing also appears to be sexist, given that you were aiming at a woman, not a pie."

Give me a fucking break.

Oh, now I'm banned for one month for reporting an infraction on BethDragon.

I was PERMANENTLY banned from RPG.net a month or two ago after not posting for close to an entire calendar year for an obviously non-credible "threat" that I sent to Black Cat McFarland UNRELATED TO RPG.NET business and ENTIRELY OFF OF RPG.NET. (If you're curious, the threat was that if he continued to publicly excorciate my fiance/business partner to anyone who would listen (which he was actively doing), I would beat him to death with my "tiny girl fists". Apparently, this email regarding tiny girl fists made Matt--who I'm guessing is maybe 6'0", 350 lbs--feel so GENUINELY FRIGHTENED that their only recourse was to ban me from there.

Here's my official "Fuck Off Forever" from Infraction Land from a month or two ago, which is the same story put in their own particular spin:

You are permanently banned from RPG.net for emailing a physical threat to an RPG.net staff member. Appeals go to admin.rpgnet@gmail.com.

A note to RPG.net users: There are very few cases in which we moderate based on offsite behavior. A threat is one of those cases, and means an automatic permaban from this site.

Kind of lacks savor w/o the necessary context, right? But RPG.net is good at omitting necessary context.

This, RPG.net indeed, is why we do not like you motherfuckers. Pundit, if you still exist, I hope I participated in this thread right and that wasn't too much commentary!

I do still exist, welcome to theRPGsite! Hope you'll post more on this site, now?

Anyways, this is really not what this thread is for.  I don't want this to be the thread where everyone posts their own private story of being banned from a website. It's for keeping a record/evidence of bad behavior (usually public bad behavior) on the part of the Swine of the hobby in ways that affect the whole hobby.  We already know that RPGnet sucks. We don't need more examples unless it shows they suck in some remarkable new way.

I'm only leaving your original post on here as an example of what we DON'T really want on this thread in particular. I will again ask people to READ CAREFULLY what this thread is for and only to post according to the strict and limited context of this thread's purpose!

Richard T. Balsley calls for the creation of an Enemies List based on TTRPG creators he views as supporters of Donald Trump; hilariously his list includes several companies and individuals that have since stated they do not/are not supporters of the President-Elect.

Spica Publishing and British Isles Traveller Support are not even American companies, they are both based out of the UK. Both are avowed anti-politicals in their outlook. WTF?

(Actually, this should become a thread in the Pundit's Forum except for the OP.)
