SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

The RPGPundit's Own Forum Rules
This part of the site is controlled by the RPGPundit. This is where he discusses topics that he finds interesting. You may post here, but understand that there are limits. The RPGPundit can shut down any thread, topic of discussion, or user in a thread at his pleasure. This part of the site is essentially his house, so keep that in mind. Note that this is the only part of the site where political discussion is permitted, but is regulated by the RPGPundit.

Christmas Ape

I thought it was less a *, more a •, between his names. I mean, it's still stupid, but we should use the proper unpronouncable symbol, shouldn't we?
Heroism is no more than a chapter in a tale of submission.

The internet recognizes only five forms of self-expression: bragging, talking shit, ass kissing, bullshitting, and moaning about how pathetic you are. Combine one with your favorite hobby and get out there!

That's a wee bit tricky to get out of the keyboard, though, and "splats" fit in nicely with White Wolf.
Previously known by the name of "GrimGent".

Not when we're lazy bastards who don't want to figure out how to make a "•".

Jeez. Don't they give you damn kids a Character Map any more? Why, when I was younger, we had to chisel '1's and '0's into clay tablets and stack them in perfect order to make a post!

If you think I'm going to be bothered to bring up the Character Map for Rein-splat-Haagendas you've gone off your rocker, old timer!

You know, when you write your name in a formal Japanese essay, you're supposed to put a dot between your first and last names.

The mystery is solved!  Reinhagen's not pretentious, he's Wapanese!
teamchimp: I'm doing problem sets concerning inbreeding and effective population size.....I absolutely know this will get me the hot bitches.

Dominus Nox

Quote from: ImperatorActually, the Anne Rice novels are quite older than the game. Tom Cruise read them in his adolescency.

Should've stuck to them instead of reading "Dyanetics". (Hey, come on, a zing on scientology deserves some smileys from at least a few people.)
RPGPundit is a fucking fascist asshole and a hypocritial megadouche.

We used to call that one game "Magic: The addiction".

Some local conventions really had to crack down on the cardheads after they clogged hallways, disrupted meetings and basically ruined the gaming rooms for other people at several cons.
