The Groypers got hit with the "anti-Semitic" label because they question the USA's financial and military commitment to Israel which is a most verboten subject. Additionally, their members like to overly reference the USS Liberty incident when Israel (accidentally?) attacked a US Navy ship resulting in significant injuries and death of Americans. [Israel did apologize and paid compensation to the families.] And there's some actual anti-Israel and anti-Jewish supporters of Nick Fuentes, the defacto Groyper leader. To deny that would be disingenuous, but to paint all Groypers as racists is equally disingenuous.
I'm not a Groyper (and I'm very mixed on Turning Point USA), but Israel's relationship with the USA, especially in the context of the Trump/GOP slogan of "America First" should be an open and free discussion. There's many interesting conversations that should be held about Israel. It's quite possible to support Israel's right to exist, but question the USA's commitment. Or examine how mutual this commitment actually is? And it ties into the whole argument about what American taxpayers gain from any foreign aid.
Instead, the Groypers were instantly blasted with cries of "waaaycism!" which is actually funny because many of the actual racist Groypers are HUGE supporters of Israel's existence as a proud ethnostate.
And of course, this only hardens the worst elements of the Groypers because the NOT-Voltaire quote "To learn who rules over you, simply find out who are not allowed to criticize." I'm generally pro-Israel, but I think honest discussions are the better route than enforcing silence as that's the route to more REAL anti-Jewish attitudes.
Another major Groyper argument is against the "Big Tent" concept for the Republican party. Personally, I'm pro-Big Tent, but I do acknowledge that if your party is for everyone, then what do you really stand for? What "conservative" values matter anymore under the Big Tent narrative? Again, I think this is a valuable discussion worth having, but again all the Groypers got was more "you all waaaycists!"
I've never been a fan of Michelle Malkin, but the real reason for her "cancelling" is because anyone not-white who expresses anything off the leftist narrative is a major danger. She's just getting the standard treatment usually reserved for black conservatives.
As for the ADL, they have a shit reputation with many Jews. I've had plenty of American Jews and Israelis tell me how the ADL are useful idiots and do far more to hurt than help, but of course, the MSM loves them.
