Our society is in desperate need of a shake up.  I just don't know how to get it with out blood and fire.

  I think the fact every other industrial nation was in a shambles sort of helped too from WWII.  As to the blood and fire, I think we are due for another WW, so I guess we will see.

In Charlottesville today, White Supremacists clashed with violent Anti-Government and Anarchist forces.

We shouldn't call the Supremacists "Right-Wingers" because they are obsessed with purity and ideology, not the good of America. We shouldn't call the supposed Antifa forces "Left-Wingers" because they are obsessed with suppressing dissent and assaulting anyone who looks like they voted Right-Wing.

We are beyond Left and Right in Charlottesville tonight. We are at Evil, from whatever political direction they swing from, they are Evildoers, terrorists who seek to instill fear and ruin the unity of our country.

Today's violence is a clash between Brownshirt Fascists and Redband Stalinists. We cannot call one side Terrorist without labelling the other. Don't let media of either side try and spin this, both sides are in the wrong. Bluntly, the two sides may attack each other, but they are working together through violence to tear the country apart. They are aligned in hating Free Speech, hating Liberty, and hating Tolerance.

Do not choose sides, choose the Third way, the American Way. When they demand we move for their ideals, we scream "No, you move your ideals." We defeated Stalinism and Fascism, we will do again, but this time, here at home.

The news loves a racist rally though, so I am not so sure you can get rid of them in the public view.  As for the comparison to the US and China.....the poverty line in China is ALOT different than the US is it not?  I think the middle class is the biggest difference in the US and China, and the fact the state still owns all the businesses (but has to put people who are connected and dont screw up too badly in charge of them, getting killed for messing up dog food tends to keep people focused though).

I saw it, as well as your Twitter Post and your G+ post. I read a lot of what you write. Some of it I don't like. I don't care for your ranting and I don't like it when you lump all leftists together. When you aren't ranting though, you write some neat stuff that can be fun to read which I why I read your stuff. I've seen a lot of people talk shit about you, which is another reason I have read a lot of your blog and other posts. There are a lot of allegations which are pure bullshit. I know you are not a Nazi. I know you don't like Nazis. I know you are not a racist. I know you don't shit on the LGBT+ community. Moreover, even though I think you can be an ass sometimes, I believe that you are probably a good person. Also, I genuinely like you, even if I don't agree with some of the stuff you say.

I don't post here a lot, mostly because my mind is deteriorating from a fucking disease that is trying to make my life miserable, and as such I lose coherence. I don't have the mental stamina to engage others like I used to. I like to think of myself as a moral person. I rejected Christian Religion at age 12 but went to Catholic school from Grade 2 up. This was because I learned early that people do not practice what they preach, and I want no part of any consensual belief system which turns a blind eye to cherry picking followers. Consequently, even though I identify as left, I piss off leftists too. I don't think GMOs are bad. I think vaccines are just fine. I actually did vote Conservative federally because there is no way I'll ever vote for a man named Trudeau and the last good socialist leader of the NDP is dead. I will also likely vote and maybe even actively support the Conservative city Councillor who came to my house two days ago because he is also a genuinely good man though I had no issue with telling him to keep his nose clean when it comes to social media. I may even support provincial Conservatives if they can stop shitting on the LGBT+ community. The Alberta NDP is a bunch of idiots who have no clue how to manage Alberta. I also think pipelines are probably the best technology to transport fossil fuels even though oil and gas is dying a slow death and our all eggs in one basket economy is why Albertans have the Conservatives the boot after a 43 year reign.

Today was a fucking shit show. I saw people in KKK regalia. I saw Nazi flags, people with Hitler quotes on T-shirts and not just the classic "Liberalism is a disease of the mind..." that many Conservatives like to misquote. I saw people screaming N-Bombs and Sieg Heils and chanting about Blood and Soil. And then I saw some asshole drive a car into a group of counter protesters.

This shit needs to end. Free speech is fine, but three people at last count are dead because of this shit. Okay, the photo of Richard Spenser being arrested was amusing, but when people start dying it isn't a game anymore. If the Alt-Right wants to be seen as the good guys, they have to own up to the fact that they have been enabling racists and Nazis by turning a blind eye and shouting "Free Speech" as a deflection, and they need to stop that shit now. Okay Free Speech is fine. You want to make a case against open immigration. Fine. My mom whose worked for Service Canada for 35 years has the best arguments for that with the data to back it up, if she wasn't bound by an oath of confidentiality. But when you're demonizing people who think that putting their kids on leaky boats is better than keeping them on dry ground, while selling weapons to Saudis and F-15s to Qatar instead of putting them on the top of a travel ban list, I'm going to have just a little bit of a hard time believing that refugees are the threat, especially when I've live in THE MOST Conservative part of Canada where Muslims and Jews have lived side by side for decades without killing each other. If you think spending billions building a wall to keep 60% of Mexicans out is a good idea while not considering the other 40% enter the US by airplane, then that's fine too. If you think that threatening nuclear war over Twitter is A-OK then well... Maybe the cockroaches will do a better job of planetary custodians.

When I say "you" I don't mean you personally, Pundit. I mean the Alt-Right figuratively. There will always be an inherent stupidity in government because it is run by opportunists whose primary motivation is lining their pockets. On both sides. If the Alt-Right wants some credibility instead of being associated with Nazis and racists, their leaders need to step up and denounce White Supremacy right fucking now. I HAVE seen Republicans do that today, and I respect that. I have seen you do that today before those politicians, and I respect that. If you are right wing and you have the balls to say something even if it means not toeing the party line, then I will respect you for it.

Bottom line. People should not be dying because of bullshit. I know it's not going to stop even if above I said it needs to stop. I know it won't,  People are addicted to anger on both sides, and they will continue to lash out because it is easier to point out the mote your neighbors eye than to remove the rafter from your own. I can't do anything about that. That's why Wrath is not just a sin, it's a Deadly Sin. It consumes you. It makes people vote for Greedy, Gluttonous Adulterers. More Deadly Sins.

I don't know the answer to this. I can't just shout "Stop Being Evil" when people can't even agree on what evil is. I want to live in a world where my Transgender friends (three of them) aren't shit on because they want to live in different bodies. I want to live in a world where my Muslim coworkers who come into work and do their jobs without griping about it aren't shit on because a small minority of nutcases decide to twist their religion and hurt people. I want to live in a world where I can hang out with my friend who is a Christian Priest, eat a hamburger with him and then go to the smoke shop and enjoy a cigar. Okay, I can already do that. I also want to live in world where my Jewish customers can freely ask me to write on a cake in Hebrew. Okay, yes I have also already done that having studied both Calligraphy and Biblical Hebrew. Basically, I just want people to live and let live. When a manager profiled a Native American customer and called security, I had no issue chewing them out and explaining that those were regulars who spend a LOT of money in our store and that I really didn't appreciate them being profiled. We're like a mile from the Tsuut'ina Nation and I would like them to continue shopping at my store. A store which incidentally is in a neighborhood so Conservative that Stephen Harper's MP office was in the same building I work in for his entire time as Prime Minister. He never once stopped and said hi. Ha ha.

TL;DR - I'm a leftist. I know Pundit is not a Nazi and has publicly denounced them and not just today. I know that other leftists are idiots who make stupid accusations that are not based on fact,. I know that the right wing does that too. I also know that being an asshole is not limited to one side of the political spectrum, and that both sides should tell extremists to fuck off. My own cousin cut off all contact with me when I was hospitalized trying not to bleed to death when I told her that I trust medical science more than her magic woo Reiki bullshit, which was worded something along the lines of "Wishing really hard won't put blood back in my body. Only blood will put blood back in my body." Her brother who was also an extreme left Neil Young fanboy accused me of working for Tokyo Power when I pointed out that Natural News posted the results of Kelp Watch 2014's experiment testing for Cesium 134 & 137 18 full days before the testing even started. I'm fine with never speaking to those blood relatives ever again. If I can manage that, I am sure that the Right can manage to denounce Nazis and White Supremacists.

Agree. It's terrible to watch people tear themselves apart over these issues, in one (some) of the most prosperous countries in the world.
Personally, I cling to the hope that we can work through all this somehow. Society has been evolving and will continue to evolve. It just looks really bleak right now.

  I told him I took his word for it.  He was referring to pictures that I was not though.  I saw the video over 5 years ago, and only remember the buddy christ look of the effigy in the video.   But the kids calling for killing apostates and the violence towards the dudes filming was more my issue.   Just started reading the Quaran a month ago, forgive me not having all the ins and outs of the politics, martyrs holy laws, sunnahs, haddiths, and the current day inside faith sects and rivalries down pat just yet.
