A post I read elsewhere to me at least sums up the above:

Rather than a set of serious guidelines on handling harassment in the RPG industry, this is essentially a short story defending their handling of the Suleiman situation.

What a bad way to address this. They really could not make it any clearer that they're trying to protect themselves first and foremost. I was on the fence of keeping or selling my GR stuff. Now I'm more inclined to sell rather than keep. They seemed to have learned nothing imo. "If we virtue signal long and hard enough people will forget the whole Suleiman incident".

Until recently I was Facebook friends with both Pramas and Nicole Lindroos. Then a few months ago I purged everyone who spammed political garbage, which was almost everyone. Even other FB almost celebrity friends like Jim Starlin. Now I don't have to see post after post of that nonsense, and I don't have to take it out on my books.

It's so weird to see a second train-wreck engineered by the conductor in action.

If I had any doubts about Nicole and by extension Green Ronin being delusional I no longer have them.

They fucked up in a BIG way and are trying everything to try and hide what they did. Except beyond a few fans no one is believing it.

I don't think they will imo. It's clear they learned nothing and are trying to deflect the issue by doing anything they can and like I said before and almost no one believes it.

I find it utterly sad that in our current state of mind and society that people need only be accused of something bad and the news media, social media, and all the SJWs out there take it as the complete truth right away. All three of those groups immediately jump to the worst case scenario and hop on the reactionary bandwagon before actually thinking about what it is they're whining about. If/when someone admits to or is proven guilty of whatever they've been accused of, that's one thing, but until then I tend to go with 'innocent until proven guilty'. Guess I'm old school like that. Just because someone says something or accuses someone of something doesn't mean it's true...

Green Ronin has shrunk in business as 5E has become healthy. The best thing for these third tier publishers business was an unhealthy D&D. Now that D&D is healthy again their business is shrinking so they are retreating into their cocoon of identity politics. They want to live on hipster welfare.
