I may not know everything about this guy or his methods more generally, but I still think this is scary. Shows some degree of will towards political disenfranchisement on the basis of political opinion.
Corporations, places like theatres, and even your mom and pop local grocery store can already deny you services if you don't meet vaccination and masking requirements, the fact that this is a clearly politicized issue be damned. We can already have our right to free speech and access to goods and services denied on the basis of political opinion more broadly by megacorps and the like, because they reserve the right to refuse service to "anyone". But we know who that means. Leftist boycotts are distorting the character of corporations nationwide. And now some on the left are seemingly willing to drop the mask of "corporate choice" entirely and consider going for corporate control and now apparently also the annihilation of basic rights like representation through direct government action.
Scarier still? That discrimination against those not of the left's political views on vaccination, masking and the like has infiltrated various levels of US government's treatment of their employees in terms of attempted political screwovers. ex: Trying to make it so that teachers and school personnel and government personnel and contractors more generally need to get vaccinated to keep their jobs, avoid fines, etcetera. Who's the main group affected by all this? The right, all too coincidentally. Almost as though the political opposition is being starved out via denial of necessary or even just common goods and services, access to government participation, access to freedom of speech, et cetera, et alia.
And then a poll like this makes some of the left's related motives and opinions potentially quite clear.
