It's hilarious that all the women doing "Handmaid's Tale" cosplay and pretending that Trump's America is like that (while completely ignoring the plight of women in countries like Saudi Arabia, that really ARE like that setting) now despise the woman who invented it all.

I know that this is treading into tinfoil hat territory, but I doubt that these women's rights marches are anything more than a well-funded and organized opposition to Trump just because he is not part of the DC Establishment. Rabble rousing for the sake of causing a scene and a disruption to coincide with the Federal Shutdown.

It's almost as if the Left and Right aren't monoliths and the labels were largely useless outside of the simplistic "Go Team!" political discussion preferred here and at rpg.net.

Why would it it be real in Year Two when it was clearly a paid, organized effort in Year One?

I don't expect extremists (of any stripe) to pay attention to those words.

It's the majority (who are moderates, even mushy moderates) who need to pay attention and not allow extremists (of any stripe) to control any narrative.
