SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

The RPGPundit's Own Forum Rules
This part of the site is controlled by the RPGPundit. This is where he discusses topics that he finds interesting. You may post here, but understand that there are limits. The RPGPundit can shut down any thread, topic of discussion, or user in a thread at his pleasure. This part of the site is essentially his house, so keep that in mind. Note that this is the only part of the site where political discussion is permitted, but is regulated by the RPGPundit.

One of the first things Antifa did was to start rampaging again.

The fact that the batons didn't come out for Pantifa is interesting. I have a bad feeling these goons are going to be the left's brownshirts for further attacks on nonconforming citizens.

Let Mistwell tap dance - he's been savoring the arrival of this moment for a long time

File that away, and vote against every candidate from the GOP he prefers, in 2022 primaries.

Victors get to tap dance if the feel it's wise.

You think I have a list of preferred candidates? Come on dude, I am in Los Angeles. I am forced to choose the least turdtastic Democrat most of the time. Best I can do is vote for a Republican city councilperson or board of education member who favors Charter Schools. And I can try and help recall Newsom, which I am actively doing.

Let him have his moment, his side cheated and won fair and square.

If your "team" is so incompetent they cannot prove to a single court, after dozens and dozens of court case filings, that any fraud took place then you don't deserve to win. Incompetence on that level is frankly epic.  And the idea that the Democratic party has their shit together sufficient to defeat that many court cases about "legit" fraud is preposterously stupid.

Face the possibility Trump actually lost the election. Because that turns out to be the truth.

The notion of an exclusionary and hostile RPG community is a fever dream of zealots who view all social dynamics through a narrow keyhole of structural oppression.

In three weeks of January, we've had Insurrection, Impeachment, Inauguration. It's too much to hope for Inoculation next week but we might have an actual plan by then, so that's good. I'll probably enjoy some Ice Cream next week to celebrate the invigorating normalcy, which is scheduled to last another 48 months.

When the Republicans fragment, I hope some of them revive the Whig Party, just so members who deviate from the party line can be denounced as WINOs (Whigs In Name Only).

Actually, the women already are having issues...

Girls can now kiss their college athletic scholarships goodbye.
Although in my estimation, that will be a net positive.  The feminists will now get a chance to see what happens when females are second class.  Not to mention what it will do to pro sports.

I almost wish I had some gasoline to dump on the fire.

I think I will just sit back and watch Antifa continue to riot and women get pushed back into the corner.

...and laugh.  Because just like Canada selling their oil to China and the US having to buddy up more with Saudi Arabia, I will enjoy Biden supporters getting exactly what they voted for.

side note: Does no one in the White House have even a rudimentary knowledge of American history?  Who the hell convinced Biden to put up a bust of Cesar Chavez?
That is truly an epic ROFL.

Let's see, one day into this new era of normalcy, we've had a speech that called for unity while taking shots at the other side, peaceful protests in Seattle and Portland where leftist with Molotovs and crowbars unseditiously attacked federal buildings, Senate Democrats upholding norms by refusing to agree to uphold the long-standing norm of the filibuster, and now Peter Robb has been fired. He's the general counsel of the National Labor Relations Board, a 4-year Senate-confirmed position at an independent agency, and had 10 months left in his term. No NLRB general counsel has ever been fired, including Richard Griffin, an Obama appointee, who served out the remaining 9 months of his term in 2017 under Trump. Yet with minutes of Biden taking the oath of office, Robb was told to resign by the end of the day, or be fired. Robb respectfully declined in a letter where he pointed out these facts, and was kicked out the door.

The completely precedented day one firing also happened to Kathy Kraninger, the director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, whose position was explicitly created, under the Obama administration, so the director could only be fired for inefficiency, neglect of duty or malfeasance. Fortunately that stiff standard was overthrown by the courts, who supported the unitary executive authority of You're Fired! Specifically, it was overthrown by the judge loved and adored by Democrats everywhere, Brett Kavanaugh.

Perfectly normal. So normal.

In defense, the entire CFPB is a scam.

That being said, though, it amuses me how much 'unity' we're seeing even among Democrats. Rashida Tlaib is arguing against expanding police powers to target domestic terrorism (whether it's on principle or she's worried fellow Muslims will get swept up in the net is up to you). The Biden Administration ran a line about how they were 'starting from scratch' with vaccine distribution, only to be contradicted by Fauci.

Good times.

Ilhan Omar also came out against it on Twitter, which surprised me.
