We have reached a point with gaming where we care more about the politics of a fictional setting rather than actually solving societal problems. This morning Grim Jim received a horrid Email. Personally I think all this shit has gone on long enough and people in the scene need to be held accountable. Here is his original video and my responses:
If you don't want to watch the videos that is fine. But basically I think as a subculture we need to stop all this stupid ass bickering from both sides of the isle and let the free market decide. Posting shit on twitter and emailing someone to harm themselves is just not acceptable. I personally am taking a stance of zero tolerance for any Canadian individual or company who threatens, harasses or harms anyone via electronic media. I don't agree on a number of issues with Grim Jim. None the less, I have always liked Grim Jim. I wish him the best. However, honestly, and Grim Jim as much as admits it himself, Grim Jim is unfortunately naïve. "Politics is Personal"! Is what the Liberal, Feminist students in my Women's Studies classes used to say, over and over. Politics is in everything--and everything is political for those that have been brainwashed by Liberal Marxism and the SJWism. The "Culture War" is a reality, contrary to what some deluded morons want to desperately believe. The Culture War is in everything, and will continue to be so. The Marists want to overthrow, taint, and corrupt everything in society, and otherwise ensure that they *control* everything and every institution in society. Anyone that doesn't wholeheartedly embrace the SJW/Marxist ideology is an enemy that must be destroyed--in every way, by all means necessary.
There isn't any "Conversation" or "Rapprochement" to be had with these people. The Liberal SJW's have been utterly brainwashed by Marxist ideology. They hate everything that normal people love and cherish, and want all of their enemies and opponents destroyed. The SJW Marxists are similar to weird religious cults, and believe with revolutionary zeal that they are on a vast, glorious crusade to fundamentally transform all of society, to establish the Marxist foundations of a new Marxist, Globalist "Utopia". These kinds of political and social struggles are going on all over the world, in various places and in various ways.
There is no running away from it. There is no hiding out away from it. The hour is at hand to decide where in the fight each and every individual will stand in the struggle to come, in the struggle going on all around us now, from every corner of society.
The idea that gaming is just a simple hobby to supply entertainment and "escapism" amongst friends and reasonable gamers--that's nice, but that sentiment is a relic of a past age, a time long gone now. The SJW's have set their sights on infiltrating gaming as a hobby, to subvert it, corrupt it, and destroy it, as we know of it. If anything of it is to survive, it is only a mutated, corrupted form that is remade and reshaped into the politically-pleasing and ideologically conforming husk that further serves the SJW's as a vehicle to reinforce and propagate their own ideology in transforming the masses. That is the reality.
This terrible ideological and cultural fight has now come to TTRPG's--but it isn't some hyperbole. The SJW's have infiltrated board-games, comics, movies, books, and even *Knitting* for fuck's sake. Yes, there have been entire online communities of *KNITTERS*--hundreds of thousands of knitters, quilters, hobbyists, whatever, that have had their communities *destroyed* by SJW's, and the ensuing bitter fights over feminism, racism, transgenderism, "privilege", "representation", socialism, and on and on. Online communities that existed successfully for many years in relative joy and harmony, were subverted, corrupted, and destroyed in short order after the arrival and infiltration of SJW's. So, the culture war is very real, and has spread everywhere.
People need to wake the fuck up to how serious this all is. It is only going to intensify.

I generally agree with what you are saying, I would add though that we should watch what we do as well. What I advocate for at this juncture is to start handling these things openly and legally. If you are on the shitty end of the stick, collect your evidence, do your research and use the system they advocated so hard for against them. I seem to remember in my neck of the woods that it was the political left that wanted all these cyberbullying laws and so forth. Now that the left seems to be in the majority, the bullied bullies, the same standards should be applied to them equally. I have my doubts that it will work, but I think we must attempt to exhaust all avenues before going to extremes.
Laws mean nothing when selectively applied. Appealing to "a system of justice" which applies political filters to its decision making is the definition of futility.
Segregation is the best path forward for our hobby. Let the leftist retards have their glorious Utopia while you spend your energies creating new spaces designed as you envision. Venger just started his own con. I'm betting he gets his 100 attendees and great reviews. Hopefully he inspires others to start small and grow. The first GenCon didn't have 60,000 people. It had 96 gamers and didn't hit 10k until 1988.
