This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.
The RPGPundit's Own Forum Rules
This part of the site is controlled by the RPGPundit. This is where he discusses topics that he finds interesting. You may post here, but understand that there are limits. The RPGPundit can shut down any thread, topic of discussion, or user in a thread at his pleasure. This part of the site is essentially his house, so keep that in mind. Note that this is the only part of the site where political discussion is permitted, but is regulated by the RPGPundit.

If you don't meet a certain threshold then enjoy dieing to stock mobs without DM pitty. The fact the some groups have a bad case of tall poppy syndrome and rage at the thought of component characters is irrelevant.
Aside from being barely legible, this is just cribbed copy pasta from TGD.  I have doubts you have ever played D&D in any incarnation.

"Component characters" are Red, Green and Blue, I assume?

I'll spell it out. You fight a Bone Devil and it doesn't act like a MOB. Gimps=dead and optimizers get their xp and treasure and move on.

You fight a dragon and it uses the correct spells. Gimps=dead and optimizers receive dragon hoard and xp.

You fight something spawned by the minds of an optimizer DM like myself or GC. Gimps=extra dead and optimizers get xp and high five for taking on a real challenge and actually being the badass heroes the game says you are.

Optimizers succeed at stuff. Gimps either die or have to such barrels of DM cock.

Got it.

As much as this debacle of a thread has been an embarrassment for me personally (and it has ^_^' ). I salute you mister unintelligible troll guy. You ran as far to the extreme as possible on the anti-3e thing and Benoist still defended you against my criticism. Good job.

Obviously he hasn't. He's a completely transparent troll.

This is so a subject I don't give a shit about. I'm on neither side of the debate.

I do like chess, mind you, but I vastly prefer backgammon.
