SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

The RPGPundit's Own Forum Rules
This part of the site is controlled by the RPGPundit. This is where he discusses topics that he finds interesting. You may post here, but understand that there are limits. The RPGPundit can shut down any thread, topic of discussion, or user in a thread at his pleasure. This part of the site is essentially his house, so keep that in mind. Note that this is the only part of the site where political discussion is permitted, but is regulated by the RPGPundit.

Read and laugh in disbelief, or weep in despair. Possibly both.

"Hey, let's make military decisions about North Korea based on what an apocalyptic cult leader and her gigolo think. While we are at it, how about sacrificing a ferry full of children to summon the spirit of the cult leader's father?"
"I give the gift of endless imagination."

Her dad assassinated a shitload of people back in the day.

Of course, her decisions about NK have been pretty spot on.  "Shoot back" is hardly irrational.

Thank Kek that the Koreans are so incredibly fucked-up, given how impressive they've been even in that state.  Otherwise, they'd probably be ruling the world right now.

Having worked with South Koreans for 6 years and talked to a fair number of North Koreans, I eventually came to the conclusion that they really are not all that different. For one, they absolutely LOVE cults. If they're not already a fervent member of one, they're either considering joining one or recently out of one. And violent...doesn't matter if they're Buddhists, Moonies, Catholics, Communists or Jehovah's Witnesses...they're all one step away from issuing a generous, and usually only vaguely provoked, ass-whupping. Individually, Koreans are great. Get them into any sort of group with other Koreans and some seriously totalitarian shit is probably on the way.

You can also come up with something that is not only original and creative and artistic, but also maybe even decent, or moral if I can use words like that, or something that\'s like basically good -Lester Bangs

Plenty of cooks in politics on both sides of the pond - this one just got to be on the very, very top.
Furthermore, I consider that  This is Why We Don\'t Like You thread should be closed

Tell us more about this!

I haven't hear about US Koreans hooking up with US cults (and we have plenty), but maybe its a thing kept within the US Korean community.
