This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.
The RPGPundit's Own Forum Rules
This part of the site is controlled by the RPGPundit. This is where he discusses topics that he finds interesting. You may post here, but understand that there are limits. The RPGPundit can shut down any thread, topic of discussion, or user in a thread at his pleasure. This part of the site is essentially his house, so keep that in mind. Note that this is the only part of the site where political discussion is permitted, but is regulated by the RPGPundit.

The SPLC article is interesting if only to see how anti-whatever Millennials are trolling their own with the Keksauce. Once the naughty kids discovered being called a "racist" by clowns doesn't make you explode, the PC gatekeepers lost control.

The more the clowns panic over Kek, or the next "Not-PC" meme that's absolutely coming, the more those meme will grow. As today's liberals are yesterday's church ladies, they will double down on the finger wagging which will produce more lolz for the memesters.

Of course, the joke is also on the KKK idiots who think the meme kids are their new recruits.

That is a cool mini!

I have no idea what this thread is about and doubt I want to 'educate' myself to find out.

I wouldn't recommend it.

It actually makes for a pretty good Laundry File.

I like the dissonance that my new avatar pic of bullywug priest Kugruk Throatcaller would make a pretty good Cleric of Kek, but the art is by RPG-Normie-central Paizo. :D

Could Clerics of Kek fit in a yaoi anime-themed game set in an American Civil War AU?

The vision I had in mind is something along the lines of Ken Burns' The Civil War if Ken Burns was a fujoshi who loved cute cuddly anime bishonen dudes like I do. (What's the male term for a fujoshi, by the way?)

I think we can fit some frog memes in there somewhere. And maybe some yuri elements as well, and of course, more clerics of Kek as chaplains to the yaoi bishonens and yuri bishoujos of the Union and Confederate forces.

Related to tthe "Kek" issue

https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2017/may/23/alt-right-online-humor-as-a-weapon-facism

I couldn't finish the entire article, I was unable to take it seriously once the author declared that 4chan was an "alt-right" website.

I barely could make it past the first sentence...gee whiz, when you start your reporting with mindless name-calling, there's just no reason to continue. I zipped down to the comments, noting many of the readers were puzzled why a so-called movement with a few hundred people in it was even remotely relevant.

I feel bad for the Tea Party. Nobody mentions them anymore. And its odd how nobody is on the Right anymore. It's just DoublePlusGoodThinkers vs. the Alt-Right.

But experts say that the “alt-right” have stormed mainstream consciousness by weaponizing irony, and by using humour and ambiguity as tactics to wrong-foot their opponents.

Wow. That's a gorgeous quote.

Of course, fascism is really easy to spot. Look for who is trying to limit free speech.

That's your fascist.
