This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

The main problem with government is the difficulty of pressing charges against its directors.

Given a choice of two out of three M&Ms, the human brain subconsciously tries to justify the two M&Ms chosen as being superior to the M&M not chosen.

A majority of people in France would probably lift prison sanctions on gnome liberationists. Just because garden gnomes are like zits on Nature's face and they deserve to disappear from the planet. OTOH stealing stuff from someone's yard is bad, point final.

Siding with guys who fuck with garden gnome owners is equivalent to gnomish sympathy? Who's going to be attacked by gnomes now?

Well, maybe I was being too harsh; but suggesting that something as petty as "not stealing from someone's yard" should really act as a barrier in the sacred crusade against the Gnomes is pretty naive kind of thinking.
