Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

You mention briefly that you have been doing .. computer games? You actually said 'Digital Games' which I am trying to figure out. Does this mean like cellphone games, and all of that?

Aside from my long-time career as a role-playing game designer, I've spent most of the last decade working in the digital game biz.

I say 'digital games' to make it clear that they aren't the kind of paper games we usually discuss hereabouts.

Specifically, I worked on PC/Windows games at Sierra (Return to Krondor), and then Xbox + PS2 games at Outrage (Alter Echo, published by THQ). Most recently I was 'Game Design Studio Manager' for Ubisoft China, in Shanghai, managing the game designers and writers who made Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double Agent for Xbox 360, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter for PS2 and Xbox, and a couple of versions of Brothers in Arms for PS2 and PSP... plus some games that were either (1) cancelled, or (2) super hush-hush and yet-to-be-released.

I've also done a lot of teaching and training. I started as 'Visiting Lecturer in Game Design' at Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and since then I've been repeatedly awarded the position of 'Adjunct Assistant Professor of Game of Game Design' (running through 2008). I also put together a 'Junior Game Designer' program at Ubisoft Shanghai, and I've conducted classes at a bunch of other places (universities and corporations). In that capacity, I believe in teaching all about game design, so my students can (and have!) designed everything from paper games, to cellphone games (one of my students now has his own 10-person company), to mobile games, to next generation console games.

Does that answer the question?

Hong Kong was great!

Now, after a week of resting up in Shanghai, I'll be off to the San Francisco Bay Area. If I get a chance to run any games, I'll post about 'em here.
