The Dragonwright Campaign
ZetaRidley:
So like many of you I'm sure, my first exposure as a kid to TTRPGs was through Palladium, and by extension a lot of Wujcik's work and writing. I remember being 12 in 2003 and just getting into the hobby, and reading "Thinking Big" and "The Name Giver" and just being so invigorated and ready to go out and play some games.
I guess that leads to the post. He mentioned a campaign he called "Dragonwright" in his "Thinking Big" piece. Do we have those notes somewhere, is there some place you read read about that game? It just popped into my head as I was doing some session prep, and I've been curious ever since I read those little snippets he had about it in his game design pieces.
Thanks in advance.
LarsonGates:
The "Cult of the Dragonwright" and various elements relating to it are a major element in the Coalition War for Rifts along with Altantis. It also features significantly in "The Rifter" - Palladium's house rag.
ZetaRidley:
Yeah, aware of that. I know it sprung out of Wujcik's games, just wondering what the details were for that campaign.

So, I'm a person who never read The Rifter and thus haven't seen those articles. (My plan is to track them down ASAP.)
My question is: other than the two articles you mentioned, did Erick write other material for the Rifter? Is there an index somewhere to find out?
LarsonGates:
He wrote, or co-wrote a number of books for Rifts for Palladium, without going through my collection, I can't remember which ones off the top of my head. I'd also have to go through my Rifters in the same vein, but I stopped buying them after about No15 or so.
