This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

[Amber] Campaign Achievements?

I'm going to be running a new Amber campaign soon set after the Merlin cycle. I've been brainstorming some things that would be fun for the players, and achievements crossed my mind. Similar to when you accomplish a task in a video game and a pop-up appears, when something happens during the campaign the group gets an achievement. This could be either a little printed out picture, or some other form of media.

I'd keep the achievements secret from my players, maybe they won't get them all but its a fun surprise when they do!

Has anyone done anything similar to this or have good examples for fun achievements? Good idea or bad idea?

Here's some examples I've thought of so far:

Walk The Pattern
Traverse the Logrus
Trump an Elder Amberite for help in your current situation
Discover the identity of The Mysterious Sorcerer (or some other mysterious figure)
Go to Bloody Bills, or Bloody Andy's, or Bloody whatever it's called right now

Never did that, but it sounds fun.  Since you are doing it in secret, will see if I can PM you with some ideas.
