This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

My curiosity was piqued when Jason Durall mentioned the huge number of stillborn sourcebooks for Amber Diceless. Two authors might even have finished their manuscripts, Carol Dodd and Don Anderson.

So googled them. Found nothing. Then I searched the GM lists of the Ambercons. Don's name appeared a few times, but unfortunately, without email address.

I'm really, really interested in those manuscripts/books.
Do you know them and how to reach out to them?

Thanks for your help,
Norbert

I had an e-mail exchange with Carol a decade or so ago and got the impression that she didn't have any of her old stuff. My questions were specific to a pre-publication magic system, however, so maybe she had materials not related to that. No idea if I can still find her e-mail address, however, as it was a couple of computers ago.

Fin, if you can find the time to look for the email address, I'd appreciate that. But I also understand that this is a bit much to demand from you. Thank you!

Carol's on Facebook. You could reach out to her there.

Thanks, Jason. Alas, I'm not on Facebook :(
