Ok I've created "Delos of Delphi"

I kind of got snaked by a blind auction, I wanted 1st in Ego so I opened strong with it and got coned in to pumping more points in to it, this blew my budget for points I was going to put in to other stats, so after powers I dropped the rest in to going from dominant to unassailable in Ego. my character stats are

Ego: 50 (1st)
Might: Olympian
Fortitude: Olympian
Prowess: Olympian

Immortality
World Walking (Olympian Road)
Scrying

I'm going for the Seer/Oracle Sthich, so some Good Luck and Advanced Scrying and I want to sneak in to lower numbered rank wile folks aren't looking, what other powers should I go for, I want to avoid the wider "Wizard" thing. if I was to pick up Ineffable Names what ones?

other characters include Aphrodite's unattractive grate granddaughter who looks to be a good contender for first in Might, Fortitude and Prowess, an Atlantian elementlist with a shape shifting, world walking magic boat and magic spear also a contender for 1st in Prowess. a daughter of Dionysius, don't know much about her except she has some fun party supply's.

I'm a little confused by this. I can understand putting a lot of points into Ego in the blind auction, but that should just raise the bar high so that anyone else interested in Ego has to really commit to get it.

How did you get "conned into pumping more points into it"? Either you had the top score at the end of the blind auction and no one challenged you, or someone else decided to bid and they also spent lots of points to become second best.

Remember that points bid are points spent, so no one ought to be able to bid up an attribute without paying those points themselves.

the GM lied (not against the rules of our secret auctions but considered bad sport) I opened with 25 a couple at i think 10 & 15. the GM had me biding against my self  till I hit the low 40's. once the auction was done I didn't have enough points to be competitive in the other stats, so after powers I just plowed the rest of my points in to Ego.

the auctions for other stats got fairly hot some of the characters are Mortal and I'm one of three World Walkers and one of the others may be artifact reliant for that.

That's an interesting GM technique; I don't know if I approve, but on the other hand its the GM's game.  And LoO is a game of tricks, I suppose.

Anyways, what I'd suggest in the case of a character like this is to focus on your existing strengths first. That said, yes, some minor Ego-based power would be a good idea just to take advantage of your 1st Class.

our normal Diceless game is Amber, every one is much more polite in LoO, but we have a lot of "Amber Habits" that carry over in to LoO.

I think that's fine; in a way there was more scheming and infighting among the Olympians than with the Amberites!

Ok it's bean a wile, I've bean playing Delos of Delphi off and on for the past year at the moment he stands at

Ego: 50 (1st)
Might: Olympian
Fortitude: 5 (3rd)
Prowess: Olympian

Immortality
World Walking (Olympian Road)
Advanced Scrying

Luck: 12

I have some advancement points coming my way, but want to shed some Luck for fresh abilities, but don't know what, in the past few Game years we have risen an island chain in Atlantis, sent the Titan (or Primordial?) "Oblivion" to Tartarus ending His/Her realm distorting rampage (S/he may be with child by my character), after the whole Oblivion thing we ended up with a few dead Mortal characters, we broke them out of the underworld, Hades was pissed but cut us a deal we had to return a score "Dark Spirits" that had escaped the underworld for each of the three dead characters we released, in the process we found out that the spirits hadn't escaped but had bean sprung along with some Monsters that where meant to be Tormentors in the underworld we uncovered the plot, slew & captured a bunch of monsters and returned some Spirits putting us on good terms with Hades for helping out, and also Zeus (a late joiner to our game is the son of Zeus out of his lover Ganymede, and yes we know Ganymede is a dude) and Aphrodite by bringing their son and grate-granddaughter respectively back from the dead.

we've done a bunch of minor stuff and although we captured some of the Underworld plot conspirators the true power behind it is out there still.

I still have my eye on Ineffable Names, but only three maby four really grab me. to go to 1st+1 in Ego will cost me around 20-30 points. I'm also thinking of getting a Demon or Artefact but don't know what likely something Transport (read: flying) or Combat related.

Half of us already have it, and it has lead to a rather interesting Sex Tape that is the only evidence of a wild party we had one winter in Delphi (but doesn't explain properly how we woke up).

I'm not sure what to advise you as far as advancement, but it sounds like your group is having a truly kick-ass campaign!

Normally I'd advise a guy running a god to pick a social justice cause and right some wrongs. But since half the people on this website hate social justice warriors, and the game is taking place 3000 years ago, I'll say pick a goddess and make it your goal to bone her. That seems par for the course with the Greek pantheon. Maybe launch a little city-on-city war on the side.

How can someone be bidding against themselves?
Battle doesn't need a purpose; the battle is its own purpose. You don't ask why a plague spreads or a field burns. Don't ask why I fight.

Cheating Bastard of a GM, with a couple of years experience of Real-estate Auctinearing (and the formal courses he did in that time) that's how.

on the find a goddess and Bone her, bean there and done that, Oblivion a Titan (or Primordial), Daphani the Muse, Aqueria and Neriad Mern grand daughters of Poseidon, Stixx the daughter of Charon,  Narcotica daughter of Dionisois (an other PC), Helena Grate Granddaughter of Aphrodite (an other PC) and (thanks to a Glamor & possibly Enchantment but assuredly some of Narcoticas good stuff) Devian the son of Zeus and Ganymede (yet an other PC), those are just the highlights, I haven't bean banging my way across the multiverse, but in the past six game years I have bean getting some and I've got a Tartarus imprisoned  (possibly Pregers) world destroying bunny boiler of an ex-lover and one hell of a "Sex Tape of the Gods" to prove it.

I'm thinking of a Magic Cloak, it can shape change to suit the world and when "Closed" serves as basic armor, but it can "Open" out to a set of Wings that give me Flight. using LoO it comes out to around 3-5 pts (depending on GM's interpretation and mercy), but if we build it as an Amber Artifact it costs 10 points.

I also want a Sword that will bump me a Prowess & Damage class I think it will come back 5-10 points.

I'm guessing you haven't actually read Lords of Olympus?

hint: it does not take place 3000 years ago.
