This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

John Wicks short story sounds a lot like Amber

Its under here: http://johnwickpresents.com/games/houses-of-the-blooded/houses-of-the-blooded-blood-shadow/

So, it puts the Blooded of the Houses of the Blooded rpg as Amberites with serial numbers filed off. I thought it should be at least mentioned, also i like this redefinition. So, read on and write what u thought fellow rpgsiters:)

I like his work and wouldn't mind seeing that idea fleshed out.  Especially now that he is over at Chaosium.
You can find my solo Tarot based rules for Amber on my home page.

I owned a copy of the Houses of the Blooded RPG at one point and thought it was interesting but wasn't the kind of thing I would run. I think it was a very storygame style product, but the details are hazy in my brain. I bought it because it had a real "Amber vibe" when I thumbed through it at the game store, but the more I read the less I could see myself running it.

I got a pdf of Houses of the Blooded off of that post but never ran it. For a while I did occasionally google Houses of Blood and Shadow because I remember reading somewhere that there was going to be more content in that direction and I was (and remain) deeply obsessed with all things Amber or Amber Like. I don't think anything more ever came out of the idea though. It's a fun little story though!
