SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

If I was to design Amber Diceless 2E

It's funny that you say that because I completely agree. In some ways I like Gossamer & Shadow more because I like how they did the Powers, Talents, and have a great many products out. But I've found it more difficult to run. There's something inherently cool about Lords of Olympus, even though mechanically, I find it the more lacking of the two. I think it's cooler and more approachable because it's Greek myth and most gamers already know it, or are at least familiar.

As a side note, I desperately want Lords of Asgard using the same ruleset.

Agreed. The THOR movies got me excited about Norse mythology again. (Did you know that Neil Gaiman has written a book of Norse tales? What I've read so far, I've liked.)

Yes! Anything Gaiman writes is great, but Norse Mythology is particularly brilliant. I loved it.

As to a Norse setting... World-walking gets replaced with travel along Ygg; Metamophosis (Shape Shifting) and Glamour obviously stay; rune magic I have no idea about. Lol.

Pundit.  You should do splat books for your Olympus rules.  Each book a new pantheon.  Sounds like you should start with Norse.  Then the fey.

One thing I have always wanted for the deities section in Olympus is the bibliography and foot notes.  You have so much there, so much more than I am familiar with, I want to know which stories it came from and if you stiched it together from peices and invented some of it (in previous games you ran) thats cool.

It's a great resource for gaming.  With a bibliography and foot notes it would be a great resource for research as well.

Seconded!!!

If not Pundit, then someone ought to pick up the ball on this. I think that if there were various setting options "out there" for folks to choose from then this would be a huge incentive for folks to try our Erick's Amber Diceless system.

Except that LoO is written for the Greek pantheon, not the Norse one. :(

Absolutely true. A great game with tons of mineable odds and ends.
