Is there something analogue for Amazon?

Just free US shipping, as I can't set prices at amazon.

Wow. I just realized that the color version is $55.    Even with a $15 discount, that's pretty steep for me. Other than the setting, what makes LoO different and/or better than my current ADRP?

Well, if $39.95 is really too much for you, you could always get the Black and White edition.

The fact is full-colour costs.  As for what makes it different/better, let's put it this way: do you think LoGaS was worth it?
Well LoGaS seems like way more of a rehash of Amber than LoO.
LoO's powers, setting, details are different; and even if having a full panorama of Greek Mythology (pretty much every single deity, not just the famous ones, gets detailed in there; plus monsters, plus locations, its very thorough) is not to your tastes, then there's still a ton of optional rules that you can bring into your ADRPG game, powers to incorporate, and guidelines for play that can be very helpful in running the game.

Anyways, not to look down on LoGaS, but having now seen it I can say that if its "difference" from ADRPG you're looking for, if its something for your dollar that stands apart from Amber, then LoO is definitely the better deal.

Yeah, with the coupon, the B&W book is only $19.95.

So $19.95 (B&W) vs $39.95 (Color). And if you order directly from Precis Intermedia, you also get the PDF for instant download.

RPGPundit

Yeah, that's really difficult to top, value-wise...

So the print copy is actually "print + PDF"? That makes it a much better value. :) I must have missed that on the website.

I invested in LoGaS long ago, and mostly then because of the author and the ties to the actual Wujcik license. I'm honestly not sure how much I'll play LoGaS, either.

Yes, I believe that its always Print + PDF for LoO.

I think LoGaS is an awesome product too; I think that the two probably complement each other well in terms of looking at the original game from two different approaches.

If I bought the PDF and decided to buy a print version before 31 October, does this discount still apply. I am not how PIG's print after PDF programme works.

brettmb

Only with the color softcover (due to minimum order values for the coupon).

So would that make the color softcover $25 i.e. $15 from the coupon and $15 from the PDF?
