Well, I seem to have gotten more than I asked for :D
Now I need someone to help me DM the said PbP game, because I am up to 8 (i think) applicants, and I dont trust myself to handle so many.

Anyone wanna help me torture my players?

I would suggest that 8 is an ideal number of players for Amber Diceless. Amber accommodates - and in fact thrives with - a number of players I could consider 'too many' for any other roleplaying game.

No...and I don't think any Amber game would really benefit from the inconsistencies of multiple GMs. The advantage of having 8 players is that they, in some ways, run themselves. Players will have lots of in-character conversations emailing back and forth when you're not even playing.

Have confidence in yourself.

Yes.  8 players is normally too much, but you're thinking in a "party context", which is not how Amber runs.

Yeh, the players will be either solo or in small groups, atleast initially.

And the reason I was fine with getting GM help, is that said GM can easily just run a player through a whole shadow w/o any problems. And main villains can obviously be a collaboration.

But I figured i can try and do this myself... i wonder how it'll go.

I'm a part of Renen's game.

The game is going slow, but steady. We started off not knowing our true heritage, just living regular human lives (most of us, one guy comes from an Earth with superheros and another comes from one of the Golden Circle shadows.) We found a magical book that explained the kingdom of Amber and two cards fell out, one of the Pattern and one of the Logrus. I and my partner (we knew each other before the events of the game started) choose Pattern and were Trumped into the Pattern room.

After a time trying to figure out what is going on we started taking turns walking the Pattern. Of course, we all succeeded. The others teleported away to other places to consider what has happened. The two of us stayed in the Amber tunnels and found our way up to the castle. The guards found us and had us wait as Bleys was brought forth. Over dinner he interrogated us about who we are and where we came from.

It's now the next day and we're starting to practice what we can do.

So no big plots or intrigues or battles yet, just a whole lotta character development and stage setting.
